User domain to cloak the provider.
You say the words not out, but the offering of ?user domains?, I believe is because many people refuse to send (or reply) to gmail.com accounts. (I know I won?t do it and tell everyone I know the same.)

Offering User Domains now cloaks the email service provider, so you don?t know your information is being mined on Google Servers.

I think, somehow, someone should force a privacy statement added to the bottom of any outbound email that passes through a service such as Google (MSN, Yahoo etc?), because it is in fact luring the recipient into a relationship where they have ?no idea? how their reply data will be used.
