Oh, I agree...
I said a long, long time ago that the day Google went public was the day Google died. For the user at least.

Now it's not about the users, it's about the shareholders and I doubt _anything_ is off the table that will make money.

I never believed the "Do no harm" from the start actually.

I do have to say, Picassa is a damned fine program and (as far as I know) doesn't collect data.
