Not a big issue even then
It is not a big issue even if you do have something illegal on your computer, because it is only sending a TEXT LIST of what is on your computer to the Google servers.
Wherever people got the thing from that they are going to copy EVERYTHING from your computer is crazy.
I have over 60 GB worth of pictures, web pages, etc. on my computer. It would take FOREVER to copy all that stuff to Google's servers, even going night and day.
