- All he was saying was that there's no such thing as a free lunch. If you want to use something that somebody made and offers without monetary cost, there has to be some other cost associated with it. He did NOT say that it is an acceptable compromise. Only that that was the cost of using certain types of free software. I don't get your thought process.
