Do we really need extra dictionaries and clocks always chomping on RAM? Widgets are underwhelming, overhyped, and IMO, basically useless..

For ONCE, Jeffe, I have to agree with you. Most of these things ARE indeed a waste of disk space.

Tho, it's not JUST the RAM it's chomping on. RAM considerations are a minor annoyance - RAM's cheap enough these days to not be THAT significant. However, THE real issue here is CPU clock cycles being eaten up by TSR* programs that offer little, if anything, in the way of redeeming value.

*TSR - Terminate, Stay Resident
