How do you know? Is it because they now say they have concerns. Couldn't that be political posturing during an election year?

A letter has been shown on the news handwritten by Senator Rockefeller questioning the legality of the program. Written well before any of this became public knowledge.

Not to mention the fact that it has come out that only a few of the top ranking Republicans and Democrats were briefed on the program not the full House and Senate intelligence committees.

Which can't happen either because the NSA in what I would consider a CYA move quickly came out and said that some purely domestic, that is domestic calls on both ends were listened to inadvertently. They said there was some "confusion" (cough cough) on what constituted a foreign call.

As for not going to FISA that is what all the flap is about, because dear old George took it on his own to authorize the program 32 times by his own admission without going to FISA
