Google in China
I'm an american living in china, shanghai to be exact. I've been here for 2 years and very rarely have a problem with google. Searching taboo words like sex doesnt do anything to google, at least in my experience. The only time google is down is when the chinese goverment decides to block it, this happens randomly to some websites, even a car website i designed myself (because its on a big server with thousands of websites, one of them is likely a porn website). However access to the internet in china is growing very quickly, and google is the fastest growing search engine in china. Not only that but its access is not blocked for anybody. So if you can access the web, you can access google.
