ummmm.....

"The same people who are so angry that the government would 'dare' to try and get this information are the same people who raise their voices when something bad happens and they say the goverment did nothing to stop it or try to get information to prevent it."

ummm.... are you sure about that? And what if they were the same people? I mean, just because you believe that the government should be responsive in crisis, doesn't necessarily mean that you want them spying on their citizens.

And another thing: If Yahoo, MSN or AOL had let me know that they may use my search terms, etc in some aggragate study, before I did my search, that's one thing. But to take that data after the fact without without my permission is another.

ummmm... personally, my child only uses the Internet when he is monitored by me directly. Period. I'm not sure how you monitor your child closely, but maybe you should reconsider your kid's Internet usage policy.
