No the US is way off base
Since when has it been immoral to sell technology that interferes with the ability of US weapons to work.

This is typical US up your own **** thinking. "Our friends can have anything so we can make a fortune selling them weapons".

If we don't like someone we will bully and blackmail the rest of the world to prevent them progressing.
.
.
Then when they naturally get anti US feelings we'll leverage the fact that these people are nasty. The "Candyman" to persuade our friends that they need to buy even more weapons.

The US is the biggest supplier of weapons of destruction to everyone in the world. (Remember Iran vs Iraq - US supplying both sides)

What is most immoral?
-selling the tools of murder
or
-selling the tools to stop them working?

Saying the US arms factory leads world morality is like saying your local crack dealer is doing great things for your societies health.
