Reasonable if
you're a Chinese communist. I think the opposition here is more to the Chinese way of governing (or, more accurately, oppressing) their people. One thing you can say about the US is that you will not be shot or detained for simply criticizing the people in power. There are many, many people who make their living criticising the American government, most of them Americans.
