A simple definition
is what is lacking. If you can DEFINE what "pornography" is, then you can regulate it. Unfortunetly the "I know it when I see it" *definition* is applied all too often. I have a SIMPLE definition that needs to be considered:

If a sexual act is illegal, it is illegal to have a "reproduction" of it.

[Sex with a minor is illegal. It then follows that having a reproduction of it (mpeg, video, etc.) is illegal.]

Of course, accidents DO happen and you can get fooled into downloading child porn. The ENFORCEMENT of the above "law" would be thus:

If you are found with a reproduction of illegal sex acts, then you are either 1) a witness (and thus would be willing to co-operate with authorities to track down the "original" culprits) or 2) an accomplice.

HOW SIMPLE CAN IT BE? This proposed law and enforcement policy should be the adopted as THE porn law.

Gray areas: Simple nudity is NOT a crime, so nude pictures of small children would be allowed by this proposal. Children doing sex acts BY THEMSELVES - with no "forcing" (masterbation, shaving, strip tease) is not illegal - as long as no adult touches them.

The right-wingers WANT to include the gray areas (they wont "give" an inch), so THAT'S why we have so many problems.
