Then why are there so many repeats? How many times do we watch the same shows over and over and over again?
To me, we're in a restricted market, we are swimming in repeats because its cheaper to show the same shows over and over again. So it's saturated, but new stuff will displace the churned repeats and poor quality TV (of which there is plenty).

Cheap battles though, for all the talk I could have done that with a couple of star programmers and a 50 blade cluster. Contrast that against the XBox for example, which has a very hefty capital outlay and a lot of programming investment.
