Oh yeah.
That's ridiculous, I completely agree. Were Yahoo, and to a greater extent, AOL, to suddenly vanish from the face of the planet, I would not shed a single tear. Good riddance to friggin' Musicmatch Jukebox, the truly "Worst Music Player in the Universe." AIM can go to hell too, both of those companies ought to... fricken' die.

You know, certain companies hitched onto the computer phenomenon and really made it a better thing. Then you get swine like Yahoo and AOL, and frankly, I'd love for nothing more than CEO Moron and CEO Dipstick, respectively, of Yahoo and AOL to swing by and hear what I have to say about their "contribution," or lack thereof, to the digital world.

They get their grimy fingers EVERYWHERE. AOL is a cancer. Google and AOL teaming up is analagous to an Ebola-infected person getting off of a plane in New York. Intel's Viiv has been doomed from the moment Paul Otellini shook hands with the AOL president at the Viiv launch at CES.

Augh. I hate companies that can't make good software.
