Is this guy crazy?
Playlist = index of songs on a device. Woohooo! He's going to add an "enhanced" index with pointers to allow songs to exist on different devices. That will do wonders for the guy out for a jog with his portable player.

As far as user interface? They mostly suck because they are designed by idiots working out of their little cubes and not by actual designers that do focus group tests to ensure that the software efficiently does what the user expects.

Here's hoping songbird flies the coop.
