the reliability of a service provider, not to mention the cost of having your own experts on site. And, if you would read carefully, this had nothing to do with the fact that it was internet based. This was a database problem. These kinds of problems would be a lot more common at small to mid size companies that can not afford to hire a team of the best and brightest. And, then it would take them 3 days to get it working again, not 1.
