I might frame this one, a classic;-)
"Then you see Gates on the cover of Time."

For his philanthropic endeavours not MS.

"You see that in an international survey of 600 CEO's, Gates
comes out numero uno because of leadership, innovation and
longevity."

Post a link to the survey so we can discuss. Just what's this
innovation that Bill Gates is credited with?

"You find out that his mid priced servers have captured the
market lead for the first time and that they did this right at the
time Linux and Open Source were finally supposed to make a
real dent in Microsofts market share."

And from this you conclude open source *nix isn't denting MS
market share? Open source *nix is growing more than double
the rate of windows in the server space. Even MS has identified
the threat of open source in their financial statements.

"And lo and behold, Windows XP SP2 gets a level 4 security
certification."

Do you know what that means? Hint: it doesn't mean the wave of
malware attacks will decrease, nor that the 80% of windows
home PCs infected with spyware will suddenly be cleaned.

"Java programming decreases while .NET programming is up by
46% and still climbing."

No the percentage of programmers identifying Java as a primary
programming language fell in the survey, .NET was up.

"IE 7, Windows Vista are on the way, and, God bless us, a
Microsoft document standard is coming soon."

As I said gonna, gonna, gonna.

The classic MS fanboy response. Miss understand the
information, misrepresent what it means and end with a few
gonnas. I might frame this one, a classic;-)
