I will never understand France
Teaming up with who they think can best sway the market out of spite of some one else. They teamed up with the US at the beginning of the Revolutionary War to spite Great Britain, With Russia to Spite the US in the Space Race. They teamed up with Iraq to spite the US in the Oil for food Program. Now they team up with China to spite the US's Market dominance in the online world.

I wish I could think of more examples, but unfortunately most involve the US. I know they have done the same to others.

As for Japan creating their own Search engine. More power to them, I plan to use it. Japanese is a difficult language that doesn't always play well when it comes to English Translation.
