Bad intelligence??
No I don't think it was bad intelligence. Everything out there said IRAQ didn't have WMD. Why do you think most of the world opposed the invasion on those grounds. This sounds more like no intelligence.

There were good reason for invading IRAQ. WMD wasn't one of them. What happened here is they hoped that WMD would get everyone so riled up that they wouldn't notice it a bogus claim. I'm guessing that route seemed more favorable than going with facts. It did work after all. The US did invade Iraq and managed to convince the UK to join them. Proves they were good lies.
