Question: does anyone know...???
Does the CanSpam law & the opt-out provision apply to web sites/businesses to which one is a paying member? In my case, I have a membership on a web site that sends occasional emails to advertise deals for its partners/advertisers/affiliates. There is no opt-out, and their excuse is that their terms of membership state that we accept this. Is this illegal under CanSpam? Or are they allowed to do this?
