You must be having a bad day
I would rather have an educated person operate on me than a layman. At least they tried something by bleeding than nothing. The average Joe would have done nothing and let them die. Better to have tried and failed than never have tried. At least we can scratch that off the list that it doesn't work. It is called advancement in knowledge that you are overlooking. Most people couldn't even read their own language back then.

Problem with you, is you are dismissing educated people that do know something. Pride thru ignorance. Their philosophy is "what do they know"? It is nothing but arrogance from the self appointed masses. It is easier to take arrogance from a educated person than a self appointed Joe Sixpack. Not everyone is an educated idiot. Just go back to school and get the job you want.
