Another Mis-titled piece of trash by ZDnet
Thanks for wasting my time yet again.

This article barely mentions Wikipedia, but rather goes into a spiel about how Digital Universe is supposed to be better. And ofcourse PhDs go on to talk about how they are more intelligent than the rest of the world. I know many PhDs and many of them lack the ability to tie their own shoes.

The worst part about the experts is they get so stuck on being right that they can't accept when they are wrong. Now this isn't to say that they do have their place in the world, and they do have some brains about them, but at the sametime, don't bash someone's input because they weren't locked away studying in the dark dungeons of some institution. What they call the flaw of Wikipedia, I call the advantage. I remember not to long ago I got into an argument with a engineer over the cooling rate of liquids, even though I had to look it up. The Mpemba paradox.

As a very intelligent manager once said, "If I had my way, I would not hire anyone with more than a two year degree, they are too stupid to work here."

This "I am educated, so I sit on a higher pedistal" crap has to go.

Long Live Wikipedia.

Afterall, I am sure a panel of experts on the Kansas Board of Education know the difference between a scientific theory and a religious theory.
