Huh?
>>Also, the 1 billion investment will probably still be worth at least a billion in 5 years<<

Huh? Where is that even coming from? The amount the Google gets from AOL as a percentage of overall business is SHRINKING not increasing.

Do you even understand that for that $1 billion to be worth $5 billion over 5 years, Google will need to DOUBLE the revenue it gets from AOL every year? And analysts only project all of Google to grow revenue at 30% for next year and start leveling off? So where is this $5 billion to come from?

>> What you should notice here is that two companies that have 10x more market share than MS are teaming up against them<<

Are you talking about search? Because if so, Google may be ahead of MSN, but AOL is pretty far behind. If you are talking about portal, than both AOL and MSN are far ahead of Google. So where is this 10x coming from?

>>MSN is probably still in the red if you consider the billions MS dumpted into MSN over the years.<<

MSN probably has lost more than it's earned over the lifetime, but it's definitely not in the billions and Microsoft is not only making money from MSN now, it is one of its fastest growing divisions.

>>That is why investors are scared.<<

Really. Oh great Guru, pray tell, why then do so many investors rate Microsoft as a "Strong Buy"? Even Cramer (of "Mad Money") has recently been very bullish on Microsoft. Perhaps you see something that professional analysts do not?
