Unfortunately...
...it looks like Wikipedia is reducing the quality of information to a least common denominator instead of raising it to new heights. I guess this could be considered a Good Thing if one views the possession of information as elitist, and the only way to "democratize" knowledge is to bring it down in quality until all feel comfortable with it. Truth is not absolute, but is only what all agree upon.

I feel sorry for future generations that have to deal with the mess we are making of knowledge.
