Didn't you just argue different times, different tactics?

You can NOT defeat the United States Military
conventionally...Now that means some other way has to be
used...end of story.

Insurgents do we know for certain that they are doing the
suicide bombing or planint the improvised explosives. Now I'm
not sure blow for blow who is doing what and even the
administration admits that there are more than one enemy in
Iraq right now and the majority of said are currently insurgents
who do not want occupation from the United States nor do they
want the Shiites to gain majority rule which they certainly will
since they are like two thirds of the country.

To the British we were dishonorable scum who fought from the
woods and hid behind cover while shooting them. A tactic not
used in that times conventional warfare. In fact one of the North
Vietnam leaders said he used the history of the American
revolution as a blue print for his tactics agains the United Stated
i.e. don't fight them head on...for they will win. We both know
how that ended. Yes even in Vietnam women and children were
targets because like it or not civilians are the life blood off any
conflict...take them out of a given war and you have won. Not
pretty but has not someone else here said that the goal of war is
to kill the enemy and loose as few of your own in the process?

Our fore farthes were the insurgents of their day...Like it or not
if CNN or Fox were reporting on the American Revolution we
would have been called today insurgents. Once we are gone the
iraqi's will likely fight amongst themselves and in the end force
out or kill the terrorists themselves.
