- Or- Turn on your TV, expand your brain
-
Yes. All TV kills brain cells. There is no:
- News
- The Learning Channel (Mostly kid age, but also specials like one on Chronic Thromboembolic Disease.)
- Discovery Channel (There's also Discovery Kids)
- Discovery Health
- Discovery Home (don't know about this one)
- Discovery Times (don't know about this one)
- Discovery Wings (don't know about this one)
- FitTV (Health: Diet & Exercise)
- Do-It-Yourself Network (Everything from Drywalling to Quilting)
- National Geographic Channel
- Biography
- Animal Planet (My 4 y/o knows the difference between Apes/Monkeys and between Frogs/Toads.)
- History Channel
- History International
- The Science Channel
- and much more!
Many of these are available "On-Demand". Then I can learn how to do grouting/tiling when I need it.
TV is a medium, just like books, the radio, newspaper or Internet. It's what you DO with it that makes you (or rather "us") smarter. - Posted by: SC-man Posted on: 12/05/05 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
