No problem Jeffster.

Don't listen to Jeff because you put your bookmarks out there and privacy is lacking out there. Don't tell people that. That's it.

1. Memory to load pages faster in ram too much and you limit multitasking with other programs open.
2. False for disable image for icons on loading page.
3. Keep alive timeout 300 is oem and if set too small will not allow recover time. 30 is the lowest I'd go.
4. Max connections 24 oem set too high will eat up tcp/ip resoures.
5. Max connections per server 8 is oem too many load down the remote server. ZDNet is screwed already.
6. Persistence connections per server beat up the remote server. ZDNet is already pulverized. This doesn't speed up much. leave oem setting
7. Same only for a proxy server. leave oem setting.
8. Pipelining max requests 4 is oem 8 is max and anything more adds nothing.
9. 0 delay to render page on load. Git er done.
10. Guarentees path for plugins. some need help.
11. Pull down menu on bookmarks is immediate.

So 3,4,5,6,7 are controlled by Tweak Network Settings. You don't have to define them in the file. Pipelining & Proxy Pipelining could be defined in the file but they are adjustable in Mozilla. 3,4,5,6,7 were not adjustable in Mozilla so I had to include them. I originally got the values from Mozilla's tweak page. They are all good. Also the file will override settings in the Tweak Network dialog box.

You may know some tweaking, but not all. Some guys overdue it and most of the speed gains is done with the settings I sent you. Not for dialup.

Tip: Do not pipeline or use non-oem settings on persistant connections with ZDNet. They must be down to 1 server and it is a classic pentium. They are the masters of FIN_WAIT States.
