A few corrections

Gizmodo is hardly an authoritative source. And, in fact, they got their facts flat out wrong. Microsoft has repeatedly stated their target is for 3 million units sold in 90 days. They are targeting WEEKLY restocking of inventory and from all accounts, every single last factory (they have THREE partners manufacturing the 360) is running at full capacity.

Any news of this "planned shortage" is just conspiracy theory and speculation with no basis in reality. Microsoft has nothing to gain by artificial limiting supply. They can't even PRODUCE enough to meet the actual supply so why limit it further?
