RE: no one cares
I'm not sure that it's no one cares. It's just that the number of defective units seems to be confined and as far as 'keeping htem on the shelves', that's not really an accurate statement. They all disappeared from the shelves day 1 and haven't been put back yet.

So far I have only had my 360 freeze up once... while loading a Perfect Dark match over XBox live. Otherwise I've no errors on any of the 360 games I own (Perfect Dark, Project Gotham and Kameo.) I will say, however, the Live connectivity seems a bit off in the 360. I am constantly having troubles connecting to games on either Perfect Dark or Project Gotham. I always get 'connection lost' or 'unable to communicate with all players' messages. My internet connnection is solid, and I have no problems connecting to games with my PCs, Mac or original XBox. I've even downloaded games from the XBox marketplace on the 360 blazingly quick, but whenever I try to actually play the 360 online, it's a fight to get it to successfully connect to a game. Something they did with that is amiss.
