This was tried by napster. Then 3rd party apps were used to change the names. For example you'd search for Madonna and the the search would scabble the name to "c8shg77" and then it would find all the matches to that hash getting you the music. Napster downloading continue while barely a notice. So the law suits continued till Napster ran out of money and closed up shop.

This will do nothing. Basically we will have to wait a few more years for Kazza creators and defenders to run out of money then it will be shut down. This in the end does nothing as well as Kazza is old news, killed by thier use of spyware.
