One small disagreement.
Microsoft has already issued a popup blocker.

There are a huge number of small 3rd party programs and even browser shells to add any features you continue worthwhile. FireFox has fewer features than IE.

So persuading people to give IE the "heave-ho" based on features is a difficult assignment.
