Sony and RIAA

It's all about GREED! Plain and simple. The record producers are no longer necessary with the ability to burn our own CD's or listen to music on other players. Rather than get with the paradigm shift and sell the songs for a reasonable price of about 25 to 50 cents since they are no longer having to pay for the manufacturing costs of making the CDs. The music buyers have to pay for CD blanks and equipment to make their own copies. More music would sell at a reduced price, more exposure of the songs, etc. But NOoo! they want to sell the music without even having to burn the discs for a dollar or so a copy, about what they were selling for before and making more money on the music. They can't face the fact that they are really no longer needed. They no longer provide a needed service. The actual artists could make their own sites and sell their songs directly for 25 cents a copy and make much much more with much more exposure. They'd make much more than the lousy percentage the producers give them now. I say cut out the middle man. Everyone will be happier, except the useless record companies like Sony, tsk,tsk. Breaks my heart. Your greed backfired!!!
