This story provides a perfect example of why internet governance (such as it is) should never be handed to an international body.

As has been shown by countries such as Tunisia,Iran, China,Saudi Arabia,Cuba,Syria etc., the internet would be sliced,diced,censored or outright banned.

These countries can and do imprison,torture and execute their own people who have "improperly" used the internet.

Does anyone in their right mind believe that states like these should have even the slightest hint of authority over how the internet is run?

Keep the camel's nose out of the tent.
