I think if you reread my post, you might actually notice I never said anything about Kofi, "BCYSaB", Annan having a vote in anything.

Regardless, on it's face I'm actually not opposed to the argument that everyone should have a "say" in it.

Unfortunately many of those nations clamoring for a "voice in the regulation of the internet" are the very same nations that swiftly and brutally silence any voice of dissent within their territiorial boundries.

Maybe that doesn't worry you in the least, but it should.

And this whole "Internet for the World" idea is absolutely pathetic. People in various parts of the world are starving to death, but hey, at least they'll have access to the internet. Maybe they can look up all the side effects of malnutrition. Well, they could if they had electricity... and all the other infrastructure needed for an information society to function.
