- Reord companies geting the 'last word' but at what price
-
For decades the record companies + film companies have been making billions by selling VHS, CDs or DVDs at a very high price. The internet only showed the frustration of consumers regarding the price of the entertainment. The internet actually gave people a chance to cheat...not a good one not being legal but a chance in a sense to get even with the big companies making big money.
Grokster like Kazaa may have had to stop distributing software that allowed peer to peer file sharing but will that be the end? I doubt it personally. There always will be some guy coming up with another file sharing program.
Till the price of entertainement is reduced to a consumer appreciable level, the music & film industry will never be able to win the war! They might win a battle here and there but thats about it! - Posted by: girish3430 Posted on: 11/07/05 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
