All congressional actions, in relation to the broadcast, recording media, has one goal, control of everything by one entity, fines, fee's and taxation. The recent discovery of a root kit program, included on legal SONY BMG CD's is a clue of what is really going on in our FCC/Congress concerning media. Did SONY worry that their action might be illegal ? NO.
Will any congressman demand SONY pay for any damages done to home and business's systems by this root kit program ? NO. This SONY root kit will be around forever. SONY hasn't recalled any of the root kit CD's yet (it wouldn't help).
