So Wrong?
Okay, so I've been using the Google desktop 2 (beta) for almost two months and I've had no problems with it. What's so wrong with getting updates from sites I frequent on a regular basis? I look at my Webclips module daily and what do I see?

I see that Engadget or Gizmodo has some update and so does Joystiq and Wired News. Oh, hey, check it out... someone left a comment in my livejournal. Dang, what's her home address? She just sent it to me in an email. I'll just search real quick... Cool! GD2 found it! Over in Google Groups, someone's having the same issue as I am with Gmail. Let me see what their solution is."

Hmm... that doesn't sound like too bad of a deal. I think this Google Desktop is a mighty fine piece of coding! "Booo!" to the paranoid naysayers. If you're so paranoid of the internet, shut off your AVG/Avast, delete your Spybot and Adaware, disable your ZoneAlarm and disconnect your cable/DSL modems. The internet is far too dangerous of a place for the likes of you "chicken littles" out there.
