Length of Copyrights
I disagree with reducing copyrights to 2 to 5
years for individuals. At least 30 years seems
reasonable since the ideas in the work are still
public.

I do believe that "works for hire" which are
owned by corporations should be much shorter
(rather than longer as they are today). Everyone
knows that more than 20 years thinking forward is
way beyond the capacity of American companies.
So why should they continue to benefit from
creations their distant ancestors produced?

I think that some form of required licensing
after 15 years is reasonable with gradual
diminishing fee that reaches 0 at 35 years is
more than fair.
