Is iTunes less restrictive?
I used a pay download service (Walmart), and found that the DRM in the songs to be too restrictive. I couldn't even play/access the songs that I had already paid for until I upgraded the software on my computer.

Even after I did that I had a 128 kbps song to burn to CD, with the obviously lower-than-CD quality, and the CD wouldn't allow copying?!!

Is the iTunes site any better? If so I may try again, but the first experience that I've had with a pay site isn't encouraging.

Most of the 5600 or so songs that I've mp3ed are from my own CD's, and I'd rather have the CD to begin with. But I've heard that alot of the newer music may be turning to DRM, if so that would suck if there were much new music that was good. sad
