IF this is about the artists ...
... I wouldn't mind. I agree - the artists SHOULD be paid for their work. But the f'n greedy hands of the RIAA and labels and 15,000 middlemen taking their cuts along the way are what I disagree with!

And until they make a music store that's linux-friendly, I guess I'll still have a place in my life for Limewire. (Yeah, MP3tunes.com is planning to be linux-friendly and all, but they won't be carrying anything but indies since they won't be DRM'ing their files. Great for indies, sucks if you're lookin' for a mainstream tune!)
