As an artist myself...
...I feel that legal P2P is heading in the right direction as some other services have, because I do feel it's right for the artist to get paid for his work, but I also don't agree with the restriction of only being able to play your downloaded songs on your PC.

Then again the article did say that in their next version they will allow for songs to be copied over to your digital devices such as an iPod or burn them to CD, etc. so we'll see.

Overall with all the spyware and adaware out there that you get when downloading from these still illegal P2P services, it's not worth it to me but even if it was...out of integrity I wouldn't download legit music to then send it off to millions of others illegally.

Doing this until they get it right isn't the answer, it's just continuing to add to the problem.
