I wouldn't say that...
It's just a matter of them not wanting to pay a crazy amount over a name that will take years to resolve in the courts, so they "chose" to drop the case...they weren't forced by the courts because they were on the loosing end of the deal.

Now, if they fought with a company and lost in court and had to pay $$$ then your statement would be accurate. happy
