Actually, the protests against the .xxx domain (of which there were many) should be SUPPORTED by those who want more international input into such things. Many countries, not just the US, complained that ICANN shouldn't be creating such domains unilaterally. Isn't that what is wanted?

It sounds like you're just looking for another excuse to bash the current US administration.
