Your completely off base!
The President is free to share with ICANN his view on .XXX domains. ICANN wa free to take his thoughts in to consideration or not. How did he censor the Internet? Many of the opponents of .xxx domains were so because they thought it was censorship. Fact is the Internet was invented by the U.S.. Why should we cede it over to the UN? Name one successfull program the UN has ever administered. Furthermore, wouldn't UN control of the Internet to the UN give the U.S. the ultimate veto. All they would have to do is elevate the discussion to the security council where the U.S. can veto any subject.
