The UN is absolutely corrupt and it would be a disaster if they ran the internet, let alone a koolaid stand.
Also, to compare the issues we face as a country regarding the rollout of broadband services is preposterous. The US is significantly larger in size than any of the countries mentioned who have cheap broadband and we also have archaic telecom laws, taxes and federal regulations written at the turn of the century that stifle competition and innovation.
