Did anyone ask USA ISP's if they're happy with ICANN?

.indy is a domain ICANN hasn't approved and so doesn't sync with so that.

If you change your DNS to point to a different server you can resolve both .geek and .indy and the other domains run by Opennic, AlterNIC, and Pacific Root.

So for example, I change my DNS to 217.115.138.24 and it resolves everything. But I'd prefer it was an official server.

So if the rest of the world changes their root servers and routers to sync in a different way, no amount of bluster like this will change the reality of that. THEY JUST DON'T NEED USA AGREEMENT TO MAKE THE CHANGE!

Did anyone ask the USA ISP's if they're happy with ICANN running the net? Because if the rest of the world changes their root, you will have to stop disaffected USA ISPs from syncing too. You'll have to pass laws to stop them syncing with the rest of the world for any boycott to have effect!
