ZDNet article correction after first post
After I posted the above, ZDNet printed a correction:
"Correction: This story misidentified the addresses AOL was renting. AOL rented users' home addresses."

OK, so now that they stopped spamming your "snail mail" mailbox, they are instead going to spyware you and feed you ads themselves. Some things never change.

Thought: Isn't AOL the "new" company who is working so hard to prevent the same things that they are now doing?
