You May Be Right, But...
the villain is Level3. They "broke" the connections with Cogent. They could have chosen a route different from breaking the connections with Cogent which would have put customer ahead of their so-called dispute with Cogent, but Level3 did NOT. Level3 needs to "pay the price" for their bad actions and to send a message to rest of them to "play nice" and not screw their customers.
