Netscape 8 uses both the Gecko and IE engines. I'm under the impression NS8 will support ActiveX and VBScript if the IE engine is selected (allowing your users to automatically install your company's mandated spyware). Much to your chagrin, I'm sure, any browser will open ASP pages.

I'm sure you can come up with better reasons why HP's decision is such a betrayal of loyal MS-customers like yourself. You'll just have to think about it a bit longer.
