Another Day, Another FUD Post From YeahRight
YeahRight, you KNOW that Linux and no-OS systems are both available options at HP. We've had this discussion before. Repeatedly. Yet, here you are, lying again. Yes, I'm calling you a liar now, because it has gone beyond simple ignorance. It's now just a lame, scripted attempt to stir up FUD through misinformation.

Shall I recap our previous conversations?

"BOYCOTT HP AND DELL! THEY OFFER NO CHOICE BUT WINDOZE!"

But they DO offer non-Windows choices. (Insert links to models offered by HP and Dell that offer choices here.) See? They offer Linux installs, and OS-free models.

"Yeah, they do, but THEY DON'T PUSH IT ENOUGH!"

Well, why didn't you say so to begin with? Perhaps that's true. But there is a big difference between not pushing it enough, and not offering any options at all. Neither HP nor Dell are perfect, and their machines and business practices have flaws, but to say that they offer no options at all as far as operating systems is incorrect.

It's at this point that you put up an irrelevant cut-and-paste list of web sites that you feel offer better choices, headlined by such "quality" PC makers as Systemax. By the way, are you aware that Systemax and TigerDirect are one and the same? Have you ever noticed that, in TigerDirect's catalogues, while they have a Linspire system, all the rest of their systems -- Systemax systems included -- come with a big "WINDOWS XP RECOMMENDED!" in the ad? Hm . . . Yes, they are definitely pushing for choice WAY more than HP or Dell.

Dude. Seriously. Knock it off. It's getting old. Or, at the very least, start telling the truth.
