"Corporate America Owns Your Brain" stuff. It's depressing.

I agree that trade secrets belong to the company that develops them. That's a given.

But to say to a person "you can never work in this area of expertise again for any other company" is utter horsepuckies.

As long as that person does not divulge trade secrets of the other company then there should be no problem.

Otherwise, if you decide that 2+2 = 4 while working for another company, in these people's theory you could never use that formula again in life.

Utter horsepuckies.
